About Hannah

Hannah Radenkova grew up in Norfolk, England (the really, really flat part), before moving to Carlisle for her Foundation in Art and Design, where she discovered hills and just how much she wanted to be an illustrator.

Although she never goes anywhere without her trusty HB pencil, Hannah's illustrations are created with pen and ink and either goache or digitally captured textures.
Hannah graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2012 with an MA in Illustration, from Kingston University in 2009 with a BA(Hons) in Illustration and Animation, and has been represented by the Bright Agency since 2010.
Since starting work on her humourous alphabet book, ‘The Alphabet of (In)Humanity’, for her masters degree she has done work for clients such as Pentacor, Edco, Oxford Designers and Illustrators, and Oxford University Press and she has now joined the illustrious ranks of Hurdy Gurdy.

When she is not illustrating, Hannah spends her time baking, dancing round her flat and collecting clockwork toys.
She has lost count of the hours she has spent trying to convince people Norfolk is as flat as she says it is.
